Our are approximantly 191 sq ft in size, not including the bathroom. The Junior Suite Garden View rooms are located on the ground floor of Building 12 and the Junior Suite Ocean View are located on the ground floor of Building 15 and 16, adjacent to the beach.
While Desire Resorts does not guarantee room requests, we try our best to honor them. The more general the request, the better chance we can accomodate it, ie ground floor in Building 22 or 25 or not Building 10. Requests for a specific room number are more difficult, but we will try to accomodate it. To help you in you requests, please view our Resort Map.
When looking to book your stay at Desire Resort, please keep in mind that the resort runs at better than 90% occupancy year round. The major holiday weekends, Valentine's, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day, all sell out three to four months in advance. Christmas and New Year's normally sell out six monthe or more in advance and that is also a 6 night minimum stay, if you are staying over December 31st. We have many couples that book their resrvations over a year in advance. With just a $200 deposit required to place your reservation, you should too. With the Junior Suite Ocean View, Junior Suite Garden View, Passion Suites and Desire Suites the first to go, you need to plan even further in advance if you wish one of these suites for you stay at Desire Resort Riviera Maya.
